Tom Heywood

Tom Heywood is a Penzance based Sculpturist who creates completely one off pieces by working with the texture, age and charecter of his material to determine the stylistic quality of the finished sculpture. Graceful, stylish and striking; his sculptures are irresistible in appeal to both the eye and the soul.

‘‘I design and create unique furniture, sculpture and interiors all from my workshop in Penzance, Cornwall. From a young age I always had a passion for craft and design. Having gained valuable experience working within the woodworking industry, I found myself with a desire to branch out and form my own identity. My work represents my passion for the natural world. I use a combination of traditional woodworking techniques and modern, contemporary design to create unique pieces, whilst still maintaining a form of functionality.’’
