Yasuko Arakawa is a London based ceramicist , born in Kyoto, Japan who creates truly contemporary pieces, whilst respecting & working with the heritage of her craft. Using carefully mixed glazes and variant grades of clay Yasuko makes beautiful & functional (often playful) works that both evoke the imagination and please the eye.
